The Cemetery

Willingdon Cemetery is located at the base of the South Downs which you can access from Gorringe Valley Road. Willingdon Cemetery BN20 9SY opened in 1955 and is run by Willingdon and Jevington Parish Council.

The Cemetery grounds are open 365 days of the year from 9am till dusk and is open for burials Monday to Friday. The rules and regulations for the control and proper management of the Cemetery are made under the provisions of the Local Authorities Cemeteries Order 1977(as amended). The Council reserves the right to alter, add to or amend the Regulations from time to time.

In the Cemetery new graves are available, there is also a children’s section and three different areas for burials of cremated remains. All the Cemetery Records are held in the Parish office and all enquires can be made to the Cemetery Manager Nicola Williamson at the Willingdon and Jevington Parish office.
